  • What is a playlist in IPTV?

    I have a M A G 254, DLT1 and DLT1P.
I've read many posts about the playlist, but I still can't figure out what it is and how/what to select from the dropdown list once I'm in the checker?

Please help me understand it - Thanks!

In order to see the drop down list you have delete the mac so it is all 0's.Then you will see the option and can download the m3u list.

      Thanks for your prompt reply.
I saw that when I did what you wrote, but I don't have a clue as to what should I be selecting from the list and why? I only read mostly about the benefit of using a playlist.

Try and download the generic m3u and you can try it out on your computer with vlc player which can be downloaded for free.

If you delete the mac don't they loose track of how many MAGs you have? In other words could you have 2 MAGs and get away with it if you only use one at a time?

You can use as many different mags as you want. You have the access to your account to update and change the mac. When switching between boxes you have to do a iptv reset. Then the old mac gets deleted from the account to add the other box you are using.
